Return to Prayer Letters

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,

We have been busy preparing to start full time deputation in February. In early November I flew down to Pensacola and met with the Bible Baptist Mission Board and they voted to take us on. Back home the Lord has provided us with an affordable truck and fifth wheel trailer and we have been slowly outfitting it with our necessities, keeping in mind that weight is a factor. Being a family of six and four of them girls, "stuff" is obviously a "weight" that needs to be laid aside. Lord, give me the grace I need to help in this matter.

Holly has been working hard on the piano and Kaitlynn, Rosalie and she have been preparing songs to sing for the Lord while on the road. Cindy has been doing her part in helping me keep organized while maintaining her home-school regiment.

In addition to getting our RV road ready I have been getting my accounts in order at my work. In doing so the fact that my time is short there is pressing hard on my heart because most of my co-workers are close friends that I have known for many years and even though they know exactly where I stand and exactly what I believe they still have not trusted Jesus Christ. To date, out of thirty five people that work closely with me in my office and another one hundred and forty that work out in the construction field, only three have trusted Christ as far as I know.. The latest one was only a few weeks ago and when a twenty four year old married father of three Roman Catholic read for himself out of a King James Bible that Jesus Christ said "except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God". He acknowledged his condition, got on his knees in a parking garage and cried out to his new Lord to save him. To put icing on the cake, four days later when I talked to him on the phone he stopped me from hanging up just to say, "Boss, I want to thank you so much for taking the time to tell me about Jesus. It has changed my life." Whooooooooooooweeeeee ! Praise God, money can't buy that!!!

The same week that he (Daniel Valdez) got saved we had 2 more saved at our winter revival meeting plus a glimpse of revival with our people at Blessed Redeemer Baptist Church. God is Good!

Gods Grace be with you all,
